Ecopetrol picks partners for hydrogen projects

Colombian state-owned oil company Ecopetrol has chosen six energy companies to help it draw up a plan to add 1 million tons per year of low-carbon hydrogen production capacity by 2040. The company said it reviewed the proposals of more than 80 companies from 16 countries and chose as partners Total Eren and EDF  from France, Siemens Energy from Germany, H2B2 from Spain, Empati from the United Kingdom and Mitsui from Japan.
