Brazilian steelmaker Gerdau said Wednesday it paid off $159 million in bonds that mature in 2024, concluding the early redemption of the notes.
The company agreed to pay a total sum of $167 million, including unpaid interest, for the 5.893% 2024 notes on May 10, it said in press release.
Gerdau announced an offer to repurchase up to $500 million in 4.75% 2023 and 5.893% 2024 bonds in November last year, putting up $1,055.17 for every $1,000 in 2023 bonds and $1,104.13 for the 2024s, including a
