Edenor, the largest electricity distribution company in Argentina, said it will issue $52.7 million in 2025 social bonds on Thursday as part of an exchange for its 9.75% 2022 notes.
Edenor has agreed to swap $71.8 million in 2022 bonds, or roughly 73% of the outstanding amount, for the newly issued 9.75% 2025 bonds and $19.1 million in cash, it said in a press release. Bondholders will receive $1,050 in 2025 bonds or $1,040 in cash for every $1,000 in 2022 bonds.
