Buenos Aires province doubles bond sale on strong demand

Buenos Aires province raised a more-than-expected ARS16.4 billion ($140 million) in the sale of two-year, peso-denominated bonds in the local market on Tuesday as demand more than doubled the original ARS7.5 billion on offer. The province priced the new 2024 bonds at 650 basis points over Badlar, a local reference rate that now stands at 44.63%, the province's finance ministry said. Orders reached ARS18.2 billion with Adcap, Balanz, Banco Provincia, Banco Mariva and Santander as the bookrunners,
