Chilean service stations operator Enex said Wednesday that it has acquired 16 OK Market convenience stores, an offshoot deal by Chilean food retailer SMU after it sold most of the chain in October 2020 to Femsa Comercio, a unit of the Mexican beverage and retail group Femsa. SMU was ordered by Chile's economic prosecutor's office FNE in November last year to sell 16 of the 126 OK Stores to another buyer on concerns that Femsa's takeover of the chain combined with its own chain of OXXO convenienc
