Mexico plans to call investors next month to pitch a sale of sustainable bonds in the Japanese market, sources involved in the deal told LatinFinance on Thursday.
The sovereign issuer has hired Daiwa and Mizuho to arrange the calls, starting on May 17, sources said.
Last month, María del Carmen Bonilla, Mexico's deputy undersecretary for public credit, said at an event hosted by LatinFinance that the country plans to issue bonds in the Japanese market in the second half of 2022.
