Japanese carmaker selects Gustavo Salinas to run the local division

Toyota Argentina said it has named Gustavo Salinas as president of the local division of the Japanese automaker, replacing Daniel Herrero who held the spot for a dozen years. Salinas has been with Toyota since 1996, working in Argentina, Brazil and Japan, and most recently as the regional commercial director in Latin America and the Caribbean, the company said in a press release.
