Brazilian healthcare company Mater Dei said it agreed to buy 75% to 80% of the Santa Clara maternity hospital in Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, in a deal that values the asset at BRL234 million ($46.5 million). Belo Horizonte-based Mater Dei has announced six acquisitions since it raised BRL1.4 billion in an initial public offering (IPO) in April 2021. It also issued BRL500 million in debentures in October to cover part of its financing needs.  CEO Henrique Salvador hinted in an interview with LatinF
