Belgian energy infrastructure company Fluxys and US-based energy investment firm EIG Partners said Monday that they have agreed to acquire a combined 80% stake in a regasification terminal in Chile, a move that comes as demand for liquefied natural gas and renewable fuels is expected to increase in that country.
