Entel sells data centers to Equinix

Chilean telecommunications company Entel has agreed to sell four data centers to US-based Equinix for $736 million, it said in a securities filing on Friday. Under the deal, Entel will sell three units in Chile for $662 million and one in Peru for $74 million. The Santiago-based telco will also become a client of Equinix for data center services, Entel said.
