Entel seeks buyers for fiber optic network

Chilean telecommunications company Entel is looking to sell its fiber optic network after putting five data centers up for sale earlier this year, according to local press reports. Entel has hired BNP Paribas to find bidders for the fiber optic infrastructure, which could be sold for $300 million to $500 million by the end of June this year, press said. The Santiago-based telco also received bids for its data centers from Australia's Macquarie Group and Miami-based Squared Capital, according to
