Chile's LATAM Airlines said Wednesday that it has requested $300 million in additional debtor-in-possession (DIP) financing as it seeks to emerge from bankruptcy, buoyed by improving air traffic.
The Santiago-based airline said it made the request taking into account the impact of health and travel restrictions as part of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as after analyzing its liquidity projection, according to a securities filing.
