CIP funds first offshore wind farm in Colombia

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), an infrastructure investment firm from Denmark, has signed an agreement with the Barranquilla city government to develop an offshore wind farm for up to $1 billion, Mining and Energy Minister Diego Meza said in a video posted on Twitter. CIP and Barranquilla signed the agreement in Houston, where Colombian officials are participating in the CERAWeek annual energy conference. The signing coincided with the launch of a program to build offshore wind farms
