Cactus Energia Verde plans to invest €5 billion ($5.71 billion) to build a green hydrogen and oxygen production facility in the state of Ceará in northeastern Brazil, according to a press release from the state government. The plant, which is expected to start construction in 2023, will have the capacity to produce 10,500 tons of green hydrogen and 5,250 tons of green oxygen per month. It will cover 250 hectares at the Port of Pecém and use 3.6 GW of clean energy from new renewable sources, incl
