Brazilian investment bank BTG Pactual said Friday that it borrowed $200 million from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to fund loans for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). "The credit line, in addition to other already operational initiatives, will boost the BTG+ business, BTG Pactual's platform for small and medium-sized companies, which currently has a portfolio of more than BRL14 billion [$2.63 billion] in financing," the São Paulo-based bank said in a press release.
