Chile is looking to become the first sovereign issuer to sell sustainability-linked bonds (SLBs) in the international market, a source involved in the deal told LatinFinance on Tuesday.
The South American country will start calling investors on Wednesday to pitch a two-part, benchmark-sized deal with maturities of 15 years in euros and 20 years in dollars, the source said. BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole and Société Générale will be the joint bookrunners, he added.
