IDB Invest, the private sector affiliate of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), said Wednesday that it granted a $35 million loan for Bolivia's Banco FIE to fund loans to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) run by women. The two-part loan includes a committed tranche for $20 million and an uncommitted tranche for $15 million, "each with a term of four years," IDB Invest said in a press release on Tuesday.
