BlackRock invests in Solek solar plants in Chile

US investment firm BlackRock has partnered with Czech solar power developer Solek Group to build and sell projects in Chile, according to a press release on Monday. BlackRock will make investments through its Global Renewable Power Fund III (GRP III), while Solek will operate the plants through its local subsidiary, Solek Latam Holding, the Czech company said in the press release.
