Brazil puts two Rio airports in same concession auction

Brazil plans to auction a new concession for both the international and domestic airports in Rio de Janeiro in 2023 after Singapore's Changi Airport International decided to return the Antônio Carlos Jobim International Airport, also known as Galeão, to the government, the infrastructure ministry said in a press release. "We will now have the same operator for Galeão and Santos Dumont. This settles a number of issues and deals with a number of concerns expressed by the productive sector in Rio,"
