The Dominican Republic expects to issue new bonds in the international market next week to fund the buyback of notes that mature in 2023 and 2024, a source close to the deal told LatinFinance on Wednesday. Earlier in the day, the sovereign issuer put up $1,093.25 to repurchase $1,000 in 6.6% 2024 bonds along with $1,057.50 for its 5.875% 2024 bonds and $1,090 for its 7% 2023 bonds, it said in a press release.
