Simpar schedules debenture sale

Debenture Brazil Capital Markets Debt

Brazilian holding company Simpar plans to issue BRL850 million ($161 million) in debentures in the local market on December 20, according to the minutes of a late-November board meeting published on Tuesday. Simpar has priced the new 10-year notes at the DI interbank lending rate plus 3.2% and said it will use the proceeds to add to working capital.  The company sold BRL750 million worth of 2029 debentures at the DI plus 3% in August and BRL750 million worth of 2027 debentures at the DI plus 2.4
