IFC arranges financing for Banistmo

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) said Friday that it granted $300 million in financing for Panamanian bank Banistmo to provide mortgages and loans to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). IFC has committed $200 million from its own account and arranged $100 million from other lenders, it said in a press release.
