Brazilian conglomerate Grupo NC said Monday that it completed the acquisition of three pharmaceutical companies in Mexico – Grupo Imperial, Kosei and Compañía Internacional de Comercio (KSK) – from the Japanese holding company Taisho Pharmaceuticals. The acquisition, which includes a plant in Mexico City, marks the entry into the Mexican market for Grupo NC's EMS, one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in Brazil, Grupo NC said in a press release.
