Canada's NG Energy International and Mexico's Cox Energy América have formed a joint venture to build and operate solar power projects in Colombia, according to a press release. NG Energy will set up a new renewable energy division as part of the agreement. Santiago Suárez-Florez, former operations manager for Latin America at Italian renewable energy company Renergetica, will lead the new division, NG Energy said in a press release on Thursday.
