Panama said Tuesday that it agreed to repurchase $485 million worth of 4% 2024 bonds after investors tendered $505 million, or roughly 60.3% of the outstanding amount.
The Central American country has agreed to pay $986.59 for every $1,000 in principal to bondholders who tendered their notes by the deadline on November 29, it said in a press release. Bank of America and HSBC were the dealer managers.
