Four companies are vying to acquire the Chilean dairy brand Soprole from New Zealand's Fonterra Co-operative Group, local business newspaper Diario Financiero reported on Friday. The contenders include Canada's Saputo, France's Lactalis and Peru's Leche Gloria as well as an unnamed Chinese company, the paper reported, citing unnamed people close to the negotiations.
