Chilean food group Empresas Carozzi said Tuesday that its board of directors named Santiago Valdés Birrel as CEO after the resignation of his predecessor, a change that comes as the company expands through acquisitions. A nearly 31-year veteran of the company, Valdés will take the top job effective January 1, 2023, the company said in a securities filing.
