Panama offers to buy back 2024 bonds

Panama said Monday it is looking to repurchase as much as $837 million worth of 4% 2024 bonds, according to a press release. The sovereign issuer has offered to pay a fixed spread of 26 basis points over US Treasury bonds until the deadline on November 29, making the deal worth $986.86 for every $1,000 in principal, according to Friday's closing prices.
