IDB lends to Ecuador, Argentina and the Caribbean

The Inter-American-Development Bank said it has granted $84 million in financing to boost “economic competitiveness and improve the climate for international trade” in Ecuador. The IDB provided Ecuador’s tax and customs administrations with a $49 million, 23-year loan tied to interest rate based on the secured overnight financing rate (SOFR), while Korea Infrastructure Fund provided a 25-year loan for $23 million that carries a coupon of 1.3%.
