The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) said it has granted financing to support women-owned micro-, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Peru and to revive the tourism industry in El Salvador.
The IDB has provided Peruvian development bank Cofide with $100 million to fund MSMEs run by women, it said in a press release on Thursday. The a 24.5-year loan comes with a six-year grace period and charges a spread based on the secured overnight financing rate (SOFR), the multilateral lender
