Engie Energía Chile, a unit of the French energy utility Engie, said Friday that it agreed to buy the operator of two wind farms and a project under development for $77 million, a latest step to decarbonize its generation business in the country. The company will acquire Parque Eólico San Pedro, a wind power generation company in the southern port city of Dalcahue on the island of Chiloé, according to a securities filing.
