Uruguayan pharmaceutical company Adium Pharma has borrowed $130 million from a group of lenders led by the local branch of Brazilian bank Itaú Unibanco, according to one of the legal advisers on the deal.
British Virgin Islands-based law firm Harneys said in a press release that it advised Adium on the loan and added that Itaú was the sole lead arranger and bookrunner.
Harneys did not say how Adium planned to use the proceeds, but the Montevideo-based drugmaker reached an agreement in September
