Brazilian state-owned lender Banco do Brasil said it agreed to repurchase $724 million in 3.875% 2022 bonds, or 40% of the outstanding amount, after investors tendered $1.27 billion by the early deadline on September 24.
Banco do Brasil had offered earlier this month to pay $1,035.10 for every $1,000 in 2022 bonds, including an early-bird premium of $30.00. It also offered to repurchase its 4.875% 2023 and 4.75% 2024 bonds, but only included the 2022 notes in the buyback after issuing $750 milli
