Log-In shareholder accepts MSC takeover bid

Brazilian investment firm Alaska Asset Management has agreed to a public offer from Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) to buy the coastal shipping company Log-In Logística Intermodal, according to a securities filing. Alaska, which is the largest shareholder in Log-In with 45.5%, sent a letter to the Rio de Janeiro-based shipping company on Friday, saying it accepted the offer that MSC will make through its subsidiary SAS Shipping Agencies Services. MSC's offer values Log-In at BRL2.6 billion
