Mexican real estate investment trust (REIT) Fibra Haus plans to issue MXN2.5 billion ($126 million) worth of certificates on the BIVA exchange in Mexico City, a spokesperson at BIVA told LatinFinance on Tuesday.
Santander will lead the sale, which is expected to take place before the end of the year. Fibra Haus will use the proceeds to build rental housing units in Mexico, it said in a securities filing on Monday.
The REIT plans to develop two properties in Mexico City and the city of Querétaro
