Chile's LATAM Airlines has received "several offers" from creditors and shareholders to finance its exit from bankruptcy with each one worth more than $5 billion, it said in a statement on Thursday.
The airline did not say who had presented the offers, but its major shareholders include Delta Air Lines and Qatar Airways alongside the Cueto and Amaro families. Qatar Airways is also among LATAM's creditors along with Oaktree Capital Management, Knighthead Capital Management and Jefferies Group.
