Millicom dials up tap for bond swap

Telecommunications company Millicom International Cellular plans to add to its 4.5% 2031 bonds in exchange for up $335 million in outstanding 6.625% 2026 notes, according to a securities filing on Wednesday. The 2026 bonds have a call date in October this year, but Millicom said it plans to prolong its debt maturities and lower its costs through the exchange.
