Latin American Agribusiness Development Corporation (LAAD), a private investment and development company for medium-sized agribusinesses in Latin America, has received an $80 million green loan through the International Finance Corporation (IFC), part of the World Bank Group.
Florida-based LAAD will use the money to fund water use efficiency and renewable energy projects for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the region, IFC said in a press release on Tuesday.
