Argentine power company Genneia said Tuesday that it plans to issue $366 million in green bonds on September 2 as part of a debt exchange for outstanding notes that mature in January next year.
The new 8.75% 2027 notes will be the first green bonds issued by an Argentine company in the international market, backed by revenues from the Madryn I and II wind farms in the southern province of Chubut, Genneia said.
