Gás Natural Açu (GNA) has refinanced debt from a gas-fired power plant with BRL1.8 billion ($343 million) in 18-year debentures, lowering funding costs and lengthening debt maturities by five years, according to national development bank BNDES. GNA priced the 18-year notes at the IPCA consumer price index plus 5.92% with BTG Pactual as the lead coordinator and BNP Paribas, Bradesco BBI and Banco ABC Brasil as the other other bookrunners, BNDES said in a press release on Friday.
