Gasco finds partner for solar power project

Chilean energy company Empresas Gasco said Monday that it has reached a deal to bring on Uruguay-based Amprés as a joint partner in Copiapó Energía Solar, two years after entering the business to build a 150 MW photovoltaic solar power plant in the country's arid north. Gasco said the partnership comes as the $130 million project is poised to enter the construction stage in the Atacama Region.
