MercadoLibre, the biggest e-commerce company in Latin America, said on Wednesday that it has agreed to acquire a stake in the US digital media company Aleph Holding for $25 million, a latest deal in the online services industry in the region.
The Buenos Aires-based company said the proposed purchase of the undisclosed stake in Miami-based Aleph will allow it to develop new business opportunities in digital advertising, according to a press release.
