The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) has approved a $200 million loan to fund cash transfers and a food assistance program in Argentina, it said in a press release on Friday.
The money will go to the Alimentar card program for households with children up to 14 years old and also ensure minimum income for pregnant women and people with disabilities, according to the IDB.
The development bank said it expects the financing to provide benefits to more than 2 million people in Argentina.
