Uruguay plans to expand its local capital market to increase the number of financing opportunities for businesses, while also stepping up its efforts to lure new foreign businesses to the country, Economy Minister Azucena Arbeleche said on Thursday. "We want to lay the foundations to have a financial ecosystem," she said during an online event hosted by the Americas Society/Council of the Americas (AS/COA).
