Mario Leão will become CEO of Santander Brasil in January next year as Sérgio Rial moves on to become chairman of the board of the Spanish bank's subsidiary in Brazil, the bank said in a statement on Tuesday. Leão has led corporate banking at Santander Brasil since 2015, while Rial has been CEO for almost seven years.
