South American development bank CAF has approved $1.03 billion in financing for transport and electricity projects in Brazil, Mexico, Costa Rica and Trinidad and Tobago, according to separate press releases.
In Brazil, the bank granted a $550 million loan to Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos (CPTM) to add 8.3km to Line 2-Green of the São Paulo metro system, it said in a release on Tuesday.
