BlackRock appoints new CEO in Brazil

US investment management firm BlackRock has appointed Karina Saade as the new CEO for its subsidiary in Brazil, according to a report in local business newspaper Valor Econômico. Saade, 41, replaces Carlos Takahashi, who has led the firm's local operations for two years. Her mission will be to expand the types of investments available to Brazilian clients, such as Brazilian depositary receipts (BDRs) and to focus on international diversification, according to an interview with Valor.  Saade join
