Peruvian mining company Minas Buenaventura sold $550 million worth of five-year non-callable two bonds on Tuesday, raising funds to settle a tax bill with the government, according a source involved in the deal.
The new 2026 notes carried a coupon of 5.5% and priced at 99.14 to yield 5.7%, the source said.
Buenaventura had opened the initial price talk in the low-6% area and put guidance at 5.875%, plus or minus 12.5 points, before launching at 5.7%.
