Buenaventura issues bonds to settle tax bill

Peruvian mining company Minas Buenaventura sold $550 million worth of five-year non-callable two bonds on Tuesday, raising funds to settle a tax bill with the government, according a source involved in the deal. The new 2026 notes carried a coupon of 5.5% and priced at 99.14 to yield 5.7%, the source said.
