Brazilian retail group Via, formerly known as Via Varejo, said Monday that it could set up a receivables investment fund, known as a FIDC, or seek other forms of funding for its new consumer finance unit, banQI.
The São Caetano do Sul-based company also said it has allocated BRL300 million ($57.1 million) to provide loans through banQI in 2021 after receiving a license to offer credit from the central bank.
