The Mexican branch of Spanish bank BBVA said Friday that it structured a $135 million sustainability-linked loan to fund an acquisition by real estate developer Finsa.
The five-year syndicated loan will finance the purchase of 12 buildings and two plots in the Oradel industrial park in the border city of Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, BBVA said in a press release.
Finsa's first sustainability-linked loan comes with a second party opinion from Spanish consulting firm Valora Sostenibilidad e Innovació
